Between March – September 2009 I was a Research Fellow at IAS-STS, Graz. It was also my honor to be awarded with the Manfred-Heindler grant for my research project I conducted there. The office facilities and the study environment provided by IAS-STS were excellent! I always felt at home there and like a member of the IFZ family. Making research in this truly interdisciplinary and inspiring institute was an exceptional experience. During my stay, IAS-STS also gave me the opportunity to use some research sources at TUGraz, UniGraz and make contacts with some architects and building centers on renewable energy. I had a chance to make field trips, participate at the conferences and events in Graz and other cities of Austria related to my research interests. Participating at the IAS-STS annual conference and the fellows’ presentations offered chances to meet and exchange ideas with scholars from different disciplines and cultures. I really appreciate all the support and care of the colleagues at the IAS-STS and IFZ for sharing their thoughts, making discussions and insightful critics on my research. Not to forget most enjoyable lunch and coffee time chats! Living and cycling in the charming city of Graz, studying at the institute and making field trips to the different regions of Austria were all amazing and lovely experiences. At IAS-STS, IFZ, Graz I had such a wonderful time to learn new things, open my mind to new ideas and horizons. Looking forward to visit and see you all again!
