My time at IAS-STS has been one of the most inspiring experiences in academia. It was amazing how the fellows from different disciplinary, theoretical and epistemological contexts and the staff of IAS-STS formed a highly productive, supportive, critical and thought provoking community. The presentations and intensive discussions gave me a lot of new insights and perspectives that are quite fruitful for my own work. I also enjoyed the pleasant and nice atmosphere of the office rooms at IAS-STS a lot! The stay at the IAS-STS also gave me the opportunity for academic contacts outside the institute, e.g. collaborating in one project of the IFZ and teaching gender studies at Karl-Franzens-University of Graz. The city of Graz has been a very good starting point for wonderful hiking, mountain biking and skiing trips. I really miss this extraordinary time in Graz!
