I had an exceptional time during my six month fellowship in Graz at the IAS-STS. Graz is a very lively city and it was fun to see this liveliness pop out everywhere on the streets after dark winter month. There is an impressive variety of cultural events to attend and initiatives I could connect to. The institute itself has the most beautiful offices and very friendly colleagues. I also enjoyed the comfort of a specialised library, which supported and inspired my research. It was real helpful to have various occasions on different phases of my work to present it to attentive fellows and get constructive feedback. The conference in May even offered exchange with international experts from the field. And, food is good too. I just love the many producer markets with local produce and friendly interactions. In short, it was great being her! Thanks for this opportunity for my professional development!
